Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)
Add an extra layer of security with an authenticator app.
Last updated:
Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security: besides your password, you also need a code from an authenticator app.
- 1
Open the Two-Factor Authentication section
In Settings, find the “Two-Factor Authentication” card and click “Enable”.
- 2
Scan the code with an app
Use an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy) to scan the code shown.
- 3
Confirm and enable
Enter the 6-digit code generated by the app and click “Verify & enable”.
- 4
Save your recovery codes
You're shown recovery codes, once. Save them somewhere safe — they help you get back in if you lose access to the app.
You can disable 2FA at any time with “Disable”, if needed.
